Absolutely, I completely agree. I rarely purchase DLC since I consider it misleading most of the time. I definitely wouldn’t support mods that are identical. Still, we need to give Valve the push to share their perspective once more, and continue resisting whenever they try.

It would likely resemble in-game workshop goods. For example, Dota 2 content makers often receive a simple 25% discount on the total sale. It seems like things are getting tough for Valve lately.
