I really want the windows to look great, not just sticking with the rainmeter notification style. There should be a way to adjust the appearance, maybe add rounded corners.

Based on what I've observed, the only possible adjustment is altering the notification's placement via the registry. That's all there is to it. I've spent time attempting to modify the notification's appearance without success.

I also dislike Windows, thank you, but it has this Metro sidebar feature that looks nice.

If the program includes its own notification system, it’s likely to have an option for custom notifications separate from Windows native alerts. You can turn off the built-in Windows notifications if you prefer, as I do with some applications.
