I was really impressed by the video showing a poly mod on an old Pentium 4 motherboard and had a particular Asus 775 in mind. Are there any other poly mod projects you're curious about? Also, any tips on choosing lower capacitance components? The creator suggested using low impedance, low ESR parts, and sticking with aluminum rather than tantalum.

I own a few boards that require replacing caps. Two DFI lanparty boards are in mind. I probably will upgrade them, but they’ll retain the same specifications as before. Avoiding lower capacitance impedance isn’t advised unless you intend to mod for v-core. That could change things. Edited October 27, 2021 by ShrimpBrime corrections

He pointed out the requirement for reduced capacitance. The board I plan to adjust has roughly 50 capacitors and was built with overclocking in mind, including Vcore management.

He mentions you may opt for a reduced capacitance. This contrasts with simply requiring it. I’d consider restoring the original capacitance myself.
