Earlier, I made a "Windows 9 Pro" disc that functions well, but I don’t have additional licenses for some newer laptops running Windows 10 Home. I’m currently developing a "Windows 9 Home" version and finished the custom settings, then ran sysprep and used DISM to generate the install.wim file. I was considering making a new disc but thought it would be beneficial to combine both versions into one WIM file, similar to what’s done for commercial discs. Anyone with experience in this process could help?

Nlite and vlite compatibility with 10 isn't clear; MDT doesn't specify if it's part of AIK or ADK.

ntlite functions with version 10, I've completed the setup. Get the file from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=54259 it will also download the ADK.

Be mindful of potential issues when using each approach. Consider limitations, accuracy concerns, and possible errors specific to the methods you're evaluating.

nt lite is straightforward and user-friendly, while mdt excels in large-scale deployments with drivers, requiring a server setup to distribute files. Installation is simple, just a standard Windows installation drive.

I’d find it simpler to pull out the exact Win10 version from the install.wim file using a straightforward extraction method.

ntlite seems like a good choice for you. Just install it and run some test virtual machines.

Absolutely, I'm confident this will become clearer once I review it. I'm just starting my day and planning to come back later to examine it in more detail.
