Adding another DIMM allows dual-channel operation, significantly increasing performance. 3. Battery Swap: Older battery types are still accessible. 4. Keyboard Fixes: Repairing keyboards is a practical and achievable task. 5. Operating System Upgrades: Microsoft has allowed upgrades from Windows 7, Windows 8, to Windows 10. However, with Windows 11, they restricted such changes for older hardware. This often led to driver conflicts with embedded systems and older graphics cards, causing crashes. Many users turned to Linux as a viable alternative, which is free and compatible with older machines. YouTube creators have played a key role in informing the general public about these possibilities.
