Modern Warfare // Warzone presents a significant challenge in terms of gameplay.
Hi everyone, thank you for checking out my post. I’m going to discuss Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and specifically Warzone. While I’ve been playing lately, my PC setup has always been a bit old—mainly an i7 950 and a 750 TI CPU (now upgraded to an I5-9400F). After some time, I secured a good deal from a distribution company and made a few arrangements through them. Right now, my current configuration includes:
CPU – Intel Core i5-9400F
RAM – Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB @ 2666MHz
GPU – Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super (originally 750TI)
Case – Cooler Master MB520
Power Supply – Antec 650W
Cooling – HTC HyperX Cloud II
When I tried to play COD with friends, I faced a lot of issues—lag spikes, even at 90 FPS and low ping. The only thing that worked was running the NVIDIA driver itself, but my Windows kept getting outdated (it won’t update anymore, though I know about future patches). I also used battle.net and didn’t have any BTC mining setups.
My first idea was to update Windows, but when I tried installing a web client helper, it just kept failing. I’ve tried almost every fix so far and don’t know what else to try. Inspired by a video from Linus, I’m wondering if there’s another way instead of spending more on unnecessary upgrades. I really hope someone can help me resolve this.
