Hello everyone, I'm setting up a new gaming PC and have some questions about the motherboard. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with B450 AORUS PRO (rev. 1.0). I need to update the BIOS, and I'm building the system with these components: GPU - MSI RTX3070 GAMING Z TRIO LHR 912-V390-271, CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, RAM - Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO SL 16GB, PSU - Corsair RM750 750W 80 Plus Gold, and MOBO B450 AORUS PRO / B450 AORUS PRO 1.0. I'm worried whether updating the BIOS will ensure everything works perfectly since I'm working within a tight budget and can't afford to upgrade the motherboard.
For a mid to high-end setup like this, a B550 or X570 would be ideal, or you could opt for an Intel processor since their 12th gen outperforms the Ryzen 5000. If your budget allows for a smaller GPU, consider a 3060 Ti and pair it with a B550 or X570 for PCIe 4.0 compatibility. The gap between these options and the 60 Ti or 70 Ti is minimal compared to similar models.
