I understand you're seeking guidance on adjusting this PC build for a similar budget. It seems the forum isn't the best fit, so I'll provide tailored advice here. Consider swapping the mini tower for a more compact option if needed. Ensure the No RGB Silent setting is enabled to avoid noise in your bedroom. Verify compatibility of all components and check local availability for the best prices.

Roger that. The question remains: what will the system handle?

The device aims for performance beyond gaming, prioritizing quiet operation with reduced heat and airflow. The inclusion of eight cores and a dedicated GPU suggests it's built for demanding tasks requiring strong processing power.

It should be very quiet. For most folks, an Intel stock cooler inside a good case works just fine.

3800x and 1650 doesn't sound ideal. If you don’t need NVEnc or using CUDA, a mid-range GPU around $110-130 would match performance. I’m asking the same thing as others—why choose 3800x if it’s not for gaming? It seems more suited for CAD or rendering tasks, given the 64 GB RAM. You might get better cooling with a 360 water cooler and quiet fans. Consider a fully passive power supply that handles higher loads.

In most cases, yes—but for continuous use and minimal noise, go with NH-D15 or similar models. It’s the top choice for that reason.

Of course, mostly for coding, sometimes compiling, and running my own backend services.

Sure, I can help with that. Running your own services for personal use—collecting data and displaying it on a webpage or sending notifications—can be demanding at times.

My thoughts are roughly 80cm from the case while lying down... That's what I meant when I said that. Heyyo, edited Feb 2, 2020

You're considering running background services and thinking 8-core will perform better than 3600 with 6 cores. The RX570 is available without a local dealer, and you're curious about heat output compared to other models. NH offers strong cooling and quiet performance—any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
