I currently own the GA-H110-S2H and am considering replacing it. Since options are limited, I might order a fresh one, which will be new and potentially better. My existing board is decent but a bit average. I found another model, the GA-H110-D3A, and wondered if it would perform well for gaming or everyday tasks. Is it suitable? Probably, as long as it matches my CPU (i5-7400).

It isn't reliable or functioning properly. It operates fine most of the time, but occasionally when you connect and disconnect cables, it begins to loop back repeatedly until you interact with it or leave it for about half an hour. You should replace it.

The D3A model is a larger ATX form factor, so verify the enclosure fits properly—I’d prefer a B250 board for reliable Kaby Lake compatibility.

It seems you're struggling to find suitable replacements, so maybe restocking your existing motherboard would be the best option.
