I found the Windows 10 layout acceptable, though I haven’t fully tried Windows 11 yet. I also don’t like how they limit older devices with their support.

cantankerously votes xfs win10 GUI performed reasonably well during the Windows integer update. Mostly the other features felt odd or unsettling. I haven’t noticed major improvements in the 11 GUI. The negative aspects in Win10 appear to have intensified in Win11.

Windows 10 featured a design? Maybe "Windows GUI museum heritage site" captures that idea.

The Windows 10 design retained some older elements from previous versions while also introducing modern features. I believe Microsoft should provide a choice to revert to the Windows 10 interface, similar to how earlier Windows releases offered a classic look. That would give users more flexibility.

Many individuals believe it can't be stopped if enough people agree. Others have created similar tools before for different configurations. Updated on February 11, 2022 by Bombastinator

It seems the Win11 interface feels a bit unusual to you. Despite that, nothing compares to the plain, unremarkable look of Windows 10's title bars.

From win98 on Windows, integer updates have often tried to copy Apple’s approach, but they usually fall short. Art about art tends to appear unusual. They sometimes manage a solid original concept. It’s occurred a few times. You’re curious about what a Windows interface will look like—think about a 5-10 year old Mac. The right-click feature stands out as a key difference. Macs don’t support right-click, which was entirely Microsoft’s decision.

The second menu serves as a legacy option for compatibility with older applications and Windows updates. It helps streamline the interface and resolves performance problems caused by poorly coded apps that clutter the menu. More details are available in the article: https://blogs.windows.com/blog/2021/07/1...indows-11/. The new system loads entries dynamically, which can cause layout changes while the menu is visible—especially noticeable on slower hardware. This change encourages developers to improve their code for faster display.

They didn’t resolve the slow update process in Windows 10, even with a strong internet connection. I haven’t tried Windows 11 yet.
