Hi everyone. I've noticed some issues with my internet router lately. I'm not very familiar with networking, so I'm looking for a reliable option under 150NZD, preferably around 200NZD if it's top-notch. I have a fibre connection and plan to connect between 4 to 10 devices at once, including one on the 5GHz band. I don't need troubleshooting help right now—just want to explore replacement choices. My router is a Huawei HG659b, included with my Spark plan.

Are you sure you understand the plan, and does it come with a guarantee?

I'm not used to your currency. However, ASUS and Netgear are frequently mentioned here. My Synology Router has worked well, but it costs around 200 USD, which might be outside your budget. You're likely interested in options with AC power or higher.

An older N56U model should meet your requirements, so look for a more recent version within your budget and it will work. Read reviews on smallnetbuilder once you discover something appealing.
