The issue appears to have vanished unexpectedly. For checking fan speed, refer to the display in Armoury Crate software.

It seems the delays might not be connected to this issue—could be related to Windows behavior or the fact that the CPU is brand new.

The lag began while I was downloading a game from Steam and playing simultaneously. It turned into complete playability issues, so I ended the game to let my PC finish extraction, but the problem persisted. That’s when I began checking CPU temperature and load. I opened Prime95 and ran it for about 20 seconds—temperature spiked to 92-93 and became unstable. I repeated the process several times to confirm the issue wasn’t isolated. It continued. I started testing with Prime95, keeping CPU load at 100% followed by temperature readings (90-92) and observing lag. That was two days ago, after work yesterday. I returned home, rerun Prime95 using HWINFO as you advised to gather more details, but the lag never appeared. My CPU stayed between 80-90, spiking at 95 but never causing lag.

I confirmed everything is correct. The fans operate around 1500 RPM during high temperatures.

It seems there might be a misunderstanding about downloading, installing, or playing the game simultaneously. Please check if you need a restart or further assistance.
