Hi everyone, here are my PC details.
Intel® Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz
2070 Super
16.0 GB
Gigabyte Z390 UD
Corsair RM750x 80 PLUS Gold 750W

I started with modern warfare 2 beta and observed stuttering at first, dropping to 144 frames per second, then returning to smooth gameplay after two minutes. My GPU would drop from 80% to 40% when frames dropped. I thought it might be a beta issue, but after reinstalling drivers, the problem disappeared. I’m worried it could happen again with the full release.

My brother recently bought the same game and is experiencing the same issue. Since we live in different houses and have separate PCs, I suspect it’s related to COD. I’ve checked the forums, but no one else seems affected. It might be a bug from the downloads I received.

Please help me out with some screenshots and videos of what’s happening. Thank you for your time.

Use Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer to track what your computer is doing, attempting tasks, or ceasing activities during those minutes. Employ all three tools but focus on one at a time.

I notice similar results often; typically reach about 100 FPS, but sometimes it falls to around 60 for a while before coming back. It seems like the game might still be new.
