It seems you're considering selling your i5 7400 and Mobo with its stock cooler. At $225, it could be reasonable depending on the condition and market demand.

The cost of that chip exceeds its value. A new Quad core such as the Ryzen 3 3100 is worth around $100 new. Possibly closer to $100 when including the CPU and motherboard together.

I could possibly target around 200 and let folks push the price down. Make those who demand low-ball feel they’re securing a solid offer.

You can receive 3600s each day for $160, and this option works better than the alternatives. I think the $100 combo looks fair.

You can begin the list at position 200 and adjust it later if needed.

I’d check eBay and set the price accordingly. Starting too high will likely mean no bids.

Yeah. If someone bites I can switch to Ryzen without spending any extra money. I'm using these Mobo links https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b450m-pro4...6813157843... and the CPU info here https://www.amazon.com/AMD-8-Thread-Unlo...B0876Y2TMZ.

If you find a 200 off deal on eBay, it's definitely a solid offer. Used part prices often confuse me.
