Is your internet service provider offering this? If not, opt for an alternative.

You’re aiming for a particular solution. Since a gaming modem isn’t available, opt for the most affordable choice that meets your port requirements. The free modem from your service provider is working well.

I don't understand your service provider, but they likely have a catalog of "approved" modems. You could reference that catalog or select from it. Sharing your internet speed details might also be useful. The device I'm using is the Motorola MB8611.

I have connected both wired and wireless gadgets to my network, and I need to apply Quality of Service to control bandwidth and give priority to my PC. This router seems capable, but it appears to lack robust device management features.

Because your router handles everything with QoS, I suggest using an affordable modem. Just make sure you have network access to the router so it can manage the connections.

The router handles the demanding tasks, while the modem simply links your router to the internet.

Modems are designed for particular internet connections. Which one do you use—DSL, coaxial, or LTE/5G?
