I recently upgraded to a 14700k and noticed the ECC when benching/stressing doesn't hold 100%... The temperatures are fine, with nothing exceeding 90 on each core/packet. I have an 800-watt PSU, which should be sufficient for this setup and the RX7800xt. There are no problems during gaming. It seems a bit odd, so I considered leaving some power on the table. I adjusted the BIOS settings and increased everything to the 253 limit, but the issue persists. My motherboard is a GIGABYTE B760M DS3H DDR4.

This board features a severely defective VRM, causing throttling under full load. Ideally, I’d just lower the core speeds instead of cutting their usage. This suggests the stress tests or benchmarks might not be applying E cores properly, though that’s rare but possible.
I purchased this board on Amazon last night... I’m hoping it fixes the problem. I’ll need to update my bio to make the 14700k work, but I have my old 12600 to install and get that update done.
