It's 8-pin EPS plus a separate 4-pin EPS connector, not a 12-pin setup. Are your existing power supplies lacking the two EPS cables you need?
the extra 4-pin is not needed unless you plan on doing LN2 overclocking. there is no reason to swap PSU for the lack of a EPS connector what PSU do you have?
they're not quite right. you're nowhere near the expected performance of a single 8-pin connector, which can handle up to 384W—something that's only moderately possible during LN2 overclocking. his board actually works well with the 3950x, though it's a bit less powerful than the original 350 model. the VRM is decent for its cost.
