I received a B450M PRO VDH MAX motherboard and installed a Ryzen 5 1600. The main question is whether the newest BIOS update for this board still works with the Ryzen 5 1600.

Typically, when a motherboard becomes incompatible with a new BIOS version, it's marked on the download page.

The page doesn't mention F31 or F40, only shows codes like 7A38vB0. It's unclear which one is correct. Consider getting the newest model if you're unsure.

I added a 3700x and it started immediately. After that, I switched it back to the supported BIOS and set it back to 1600, and everything functioned properly.
