Hey everyone, I just got GTA V and did some modifications, but I haven’t played online yet because I don’t want to get banned. I already removed all the mod files from my game folder for safety. I’m wondering if there’s a way to install mods in single-player mode and then switch to multiplayer without using them, so I can stay online without getting flagged. I know I can delete the files again and again, but it’s not practical. I also tried copying my game folder to have two versions and then “cracking” the second one, but it crashed right away. Also, I’m worried about accidentally affecting other folders like Social Club or documents if the second copy interferes. Any suggestions on how to safely mod GTA without running into issues? I think people who heavily modify the game can’t just wipe everything every time they log in.

Move the files to another place and then save them so GTA can't access the contents.
