Many players ask about the consequences of trying to modify GTA V. The rules can vary depending on whether you're using public or private servers. Generally, if you don’t earn money or participate in public multiplayer, you’re less likely to face immediate penalties. However, some servers may still monitor activity closely. Spending time in private sessions without any in-game transactions usually helps avoid detection. As for bans, it’s possible but depends on the server’s policies and how your activity is flagged. It’s best to stay informed from experienced modders or community forums before diving in.

I believe you’re usually removed permanently for the first time, as it did with my younger sibling.

Here’s what occurred: initially two weeks, then another two to three months passed. After missing play for the first two weeks and getting banned twice, I returned about three months later with a new haircut.
