Mobo only supports a single RAM module.
Essentially, I recently upgraded to an AMD system and CPU. It functioned properly for three days before stopping and the CPU debug light appeared. I attempted various fixes, checked the motherboard outside the case, and tested everything separately inside. Only using one RAM stick resolved the issue, while the other caused problems. I also tried different configurations like A1+A2, A1+B1, etc., but they didn’t work. Could someone help identify the problem and provide a solution? Thanks in advance. I’ve attached a parts list for reference.
Well, you need to do some more troubleshooting.... First, I'd test the RAM sticks for defects with memtest86 or another utility. You should also check if there is any dust , dirt or foreign object in the RAM slots. Is the BIOS of your motherboard up to date ? The 5700x3d is a fairly new CPU and you should run the latest BIOS for compatibility reasons. In case you didn't already do it, clear the CMOS memory. If possible, test your computer with other RAM sticks. A RAM debug light can be a CPU problem too. If the CPU is not correctly inserted or if it has some bent pins, the memory controller (in the CPU) may register RAM as faulty or absent. Hope that helps.
