Mobo doesn't appreciate my attempts to modify the RAM when it previously functioned properly
Hey everyone. I’m not sure where else to seek help, but I own a Gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3 motherboard and had my RAM (Vengeance LPX, 16 GB DDR4, 3000 MHz) reset from 2933 MHz back to 2133 MHz. I followed my usual settings—voltage, timings, and frequency—but it didn’t work. Instead of stabilizing, I kept getting boot loops until the system reset itself again. Before this happened, everything ran smoothly. I’ve tried using timings from programs like HWinfo64, which gave me slower speeds but still above 2133 MHz. Even then, it didn’t fix the issue. I’ve recently updated my motherboard drivers and moved my boot drive to an M.2 slot, but the problem persists. I’m puzzled—could my card or RAM be the culprit? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
