Tera seems pleasant at first, but then it starts pulling back and demands real cash for everything. Oh, the bank is full and they need more room. You need 10 dollars, please. F2P my Ass.

Back in the past I was deeply hooked on Everquest 2, spending nearly 700 hours playing. I enjoy the click-based battles in Everquest 2 and appreciate the action-packed combat found in other MMOs such as Neverwinter.

These Korean MMOs are noticeably quicker than Neverwinter, actually. Skyforge seems like a solid alternative with a similar combat feel and a wide variety of classes.

You're free to explore Final Fantasy XIV—it's enjoyable for all levels, though committing a lot of time is necessary now.
