From where did you download the game? Are your drivers (especially video and motherboard chipset) current? Same for Windows, is it current and fully updated?

Here’s a rewritten version of your text, focusing on clarity and streamlining:

“I’m experiencing an issue with *Mortal Kombat 11* where the game is reporting a file validation error, despite running Steam’s integrity check. The check identified one failed file and prompted a download of approximately 409 MB. I'm currently using Nvidia driver version 417.71, which has consistently worked well with other games like *Apex Legends*, *Sekiro*, and *Rocket League*. While the game cache validation through Steam indicated a problem, the re-acquisition process didn’t resolve it. Given my history of stability with this driver, I'm hesitant to upgrade to newer Nvidia drivers, but if the error persists after another validation check, I may need to consider doing so. It seems like the issue might be related to an underlying file conflict rather than a driver incompatibility.”
