Ensure proper setup by installing components in alternating groups. For a four-slot board, arrange them as 4/8/4/8 or 8/4/8/4. RAM slots might be marked to guide the placement.

That's the plan. I'll go with 2x8GB right now, and after it works, I'll consider adding another 2x4GB.

Everything is functioning properly, so I went ahead with the additional RAM. It looks good at 24GB. I'll keep a close eye on it. No plans for overclocking.
