Mixing memory
Last year I purchased the following components: AMD Ryzen 5 3400G, VENGEANCE LPX 8GB DDR4 memory, RX Vega 11, and an ASUS PRIME A320M-K motherboard. Now I’m looking to upgrade my RAM to 16GB but the same model is costly. I discovered a cheaper option on Adata and G.SKILL, which offer similar speeds. Should I combine different memory types?
You always should try to avoid it, but in theorie there is nothing wrong as long as you et the right speed (wich seems to be true by looking at your Text above).
I recommend avoiding mixing RAM. This can lead to many problems. 2x8GB bundles are available at affordable prices these days. For example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083NPX9TJ/ref...QCBJH49QM5 Remember, whatever you choose, get a matching pair as a kit.
