In some games, turning on both HDR and Dolby Atmos together leads to no sound output, and this issue remains until the system restarts. I've only experienced this in The Crew: Motorfest and Remnant II, while Forza Horizon 5 functions normally. Turning off either HDR or Dolby Atmos resolves the problem. I also face occasional brief audio interruptions in all games, which appears to be a recognized problem with Nvidia graphics cards. Relevant details: - Graphics card: RTX 3080 with newest drivers - Display: Samsung S95C 4K at 144Hz, 10bit HDR (reducing refresh rate doesn't help) - Audio: Samsung Q930C with HDMI eARC soundbar, wireless sub, and 2 satellite speakers My PC connects to the TV via an HDMI 2.1 cable, and the soundbar uses HDMI eARC. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

What operating system are you using? I noticed frequent crashes a while back, but they seem to have stopped around last year. Sometimes starting a game leads to audio issues that force me to close and restart it.

Running on Windows 11 22H2. Observed that adjusting Dolby Atmos in the control panel resolves the problem briefly, but I need to repeat the same action after restarting.

I worry this might be an eARC issue, but luckily it resolved itself—maybe a TV firmware update fixed it. There’s also that occasional glitch when launching games. I might attend Motorfest tomorrow to check if it affects me, since I think a free trial is available. I’m aware The Crew 2 tends to cause audio problems, though it’s the game I play most, so it could just be more common there.

Thanks! I'm developing a script to set up Atmos automatically each time I connect to my TV.

They mentioned there was a trial, but I couldn't locate it—maybe it was an Ubisoft+ ad that didn’t match expectations. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test the Beta and wasn’t convinced about the game, so I won’t be purchasing it until it becomes more affordable.

Seems it was just for the initial launch period. Still appreciate it!

It's frustrating when everyone's focused on Starfield, isn't it?
