Hello everyone. My current setup uses an Asus Z170-E Skylake board with two 4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz RAM modules. I’m planning to add two more 8GB modules (expected soon) and wondered if I can install all four together for a combined 24GB. Would that work? Are there any limitations or performance issues even though the speeds match? Or should I replace the existing sticks with just the new ones for 16GB instead? Thanks ahead of time.

In my previous computer I used two 2GB drives and one 4GB drive. It was DDR3, but as long as the speeds match, it should function (likely).

No problems encountered thus far; performance appears optimal.
