I share a similar impression with TouchWiz. It offers superior handling of the home screen (continuous flipping) and app drawer (accessed via icon, not swipe). Additional features include hidden apps, larger icons, and more. Both stock and Trebuchet (LineageOS) fall short compared to others I've tried. Many have noticed a decline after Android 9, possibly due to my tablet's performance.
The main issue is dislike for preinstalled software. When options are given, they're acceptable; if preinstalled, it turns into unnecessary bloatware. Miui began as custom ROMs for devices like Samsung and HTC on XDA, facing significant criticism at the time.
