Did you completely destroy it? If returning it isn't possible, it might be better to sell it yourself to someone who requires it for a laptop. This is simpler than handling adapters.

I understand, it seems I made an Amazon return some time ago but haven't received the refund yet. I'm not sure I want to rely on it again.
