I recently purchased a motherboard with a 1200 socket. I intended to install the i5 11600k but noticed a missing pin when trying to insert it. After some investigation, I learned it was for the VSS pin. I’m unsure if placing the CPU there would affect performance or safety. Any advice from others would be greatly appreciated! The LGA 1200/11th generation model is generally considered a poor purchase today.
