Those sections really didn’t impress me. I appreciate that the latest title doesn’t include weapons. I just hope the setting feels more vibrant. DICE seems similar to Crytek—they build great engines but struggle with engaging gameplay.
I really enjoyed the first installment, so I probably would have purchased this regardless of its quality.
It's a game I really enjoy. I've been eager for it since Mirror's Edge was released and it lived up to expectations. The visuals are great, especially in Regatta Bay and Ocean Pier. I'm still perfecting my playthrough, but the gameplay feels solid. I usually don't upload much, just when something cool or funny happens. The story was engaging, though a bit predictable. They left room for a sequel, but it didn't perform well commercially, so another might never come. It's disappointing, but I really like Mirror's Edge titles.
