So I Installed this game again, been a while since I played it. But I switched from a 1080p to a 1440p display in the mean time. The weird thing is, up to 1080p the resolution seems fine. But when I select 1440p the game seems to be rendering at ~720p, eventhough the game says it's 1440p. Any idea what could be causing this?

No, I don't have a 1440p monitor.

You were looking at my page, right? You'd notice the 2515H code.

Mirrors are not old enough to be a concern for supporting 1440.

You didn't mention anything specific. It seems there might be some confusion. If you're using DSR or similar tools, improper setup can cause blurry images. That should have been a straightforward solution. Since it isn't, I recommend checking the game files or searching for the issue online.

It's still relevant enough to remain in consideration.

Many users revisit the content on updated displays to experience the enhanced visuals. Searching yields only high-resolution presentations, and the problem isn't related to DSR as it remains turned off.

It appears the interface distorts unusually once you go beyond 1080p, or perhaps the game's clarity drops over time. Could it be that older titles are outdated (developers thought CRT screens handled all resolutions)? After installing Morrowind from the original disc, it runs smoothly at 1440p. However, some games may not support higher resolutions easily.

I really can't grasp why this happens—it's completely confusing. I don't know what to check or do. Trying to make the ini file read-only didn't help at all. Someone else reported the same issue; I edited that post and tried DSR 4K, but it still doesn't work. Anything above 1080p drops to 720p. That's odd since the game lets you choose a higher resolution.

Try the Flawless Widescreen option, it might make a difference. It worked well for me.
