Minute PC issues that spread quickly
Hello, over the last few months my PC has experienced sudden slowdowns. Typically, around every hour it drops to about 2 FPS and even audio and voice chat become unstable for a short time. I’m unsure whether this is due to hardware problems or software issues, and I don’t know if it’s connected to a RAM issue, power supply, or something else. Recently, my system has also been freezing frequently whenever I close a game or switch tabs, sometimes pausing for around 30 seconds. Here are my details: Windows 10 Family x64 version 21H2 MSI B450 Tomahawk (BIOS 7C02v3F, latest), Ryzen 5 3600X @3.80GHz (no overclock), Rockchip 4x8 Vengeance Pro RAM @3200MHz (no overclock), Sapphire Radeon RX 5700XT Nitro+, storage setup including Aorus NVMe SSD, Western Digital Blue SATA SSD, and Corsair RX750 power supply (750W, Platinum). Please feel free to ask questions or share any leads. Thanks a lot!
I relied on a program named Wallpaper Engine, thinking it might be the problem. However, removing or stopping it didn’t resolve the issue.
Another issue with Windows can cause Windows Defender to consume full CPU power for a moment. Check the Task Manager to observe any increases during this time.
