Whenever I try to launch either battlefield 2042 or escape from tarkov, a tiny square appears in the center left of my screen. My PC runs an intel i7 9700k overclocked to 4.5ghz, paired with an msi rtx 2080 and 16gb of ddr4 RAM. The graphics drivers are current, but I've restarted multiple times—sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

It occurs more frequently in older drivers. Check those versions to confirm.

Check for programs attempting to add an extra layer into these applications—close all active processes.
