I just set up Linux Mint and faced an issue where it takes over 10 seconds for the mouse and keyboard to respond after startup. The desktop appears, but input devices aren't functional until the delay passes. Have anyone else experienced this problem before?

Do you have X or Wayland as your display server? Are your hardware components quite outdated? Also, since it isn't reacting to keyboard or mouse input, try using Ctrl + Alt + f4. If it instantly switches to tty4, the problem might lie with the login manager.
