Hey everyone, I recall buying Windows 8 when it first came out at a pretty low price. I haven't used it yet, but I'm unsure if the disc I have is the right one for installing Windows 8 on a fresh system. The package seems to include both 32-bit and 64-bit CDs (sorry if this looks confusing). My main question is whether I need to invest in a new operating system or if I can use an existing one.

The license key was lost. Without it, you can't turn on Windows. The installation media isn't particularly valuable; you can make copies or use a bootable USB for free installation.

Yes, download the operating system from the CD, though you'll require a license key—usually sent via email—to enable Windows activation

It seems I missed it. It looks like I might need to upgrade my operating system.
