I bought a device from the Amazon store labeled "13th Gen 4K Mini Gaming PC Windows 11 Pro, Intel Core i9 13900H, 32GB DDR5 2TB PCIe" and the seller was KingnovyPC. The product came without a manual or any guidance for updating the BIOS. Despite my requests, they never provided a link to download BIOS updates. I have some images of the motherboard attached. I need assistance with this issue.

Post some images of the case, check for any labels indicating brand and model. Ask why updating the BIOS is necessary. Find out which motherboard model appears in the BIOS settings if you have access.

I believe the Amazon link for the product could be more helpful than a photo of the case.

It's a Chinese version of a product. Check the seller's location: Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China.
Shop - kingnovypc
Consider mentioning your needs directly on social media instead of using labels on the case.
You might search Chinese sites for a BIOS and possibly find an update there.
However, it remains a "black box" device that isn't supported like other miniPC brands do.

As I remember, just the 13900HX model shares the same design as the desktop chips. The 13900H should not be impacted by the current 13th or 14th generation problems.

Are there any settings in the BIOS that let you adjust the Vcore or restrict the maximum voltage?

Cast your vote using your wallet. Send it back to Amazon to choose another option with backing.

Hello, thank you for your feedback.
Indeed, I had already mentioned this before—I purchased it from them via Amazon and have already contacted the support site multiple times, yet they consistently refuse to provide any clear assistance because they don't have it available.
KingnovyPC isn't a manufacturer; it's merely a reseller that only offers the equipment once it arrives in a box.
The device seems to be an "Intel BQM5," but I haven't found any other information beyond the drivers so far.

Of course, this chip, at least initially, doesn't face the issues other Intel chips are encountering, yet that doesn't mean we shouldn't need a BIOS download site. The real reason is that updates are still required, whether it's late or early.

In fact, these systems rely on AMI to handle the BIOS, but they don't worry about updating it—they don't incur any costs for this process, which is clearly an economic concern.

The present BIOS is quite good, though a bit complex because of the many options. The seller should provide a manual; I have already mentioned that in my country it is illegal to sell products without one. I can handle enough to make the necessary adjustments, especially if you need to connect devices using Thunderbolt. However, I don’t want the data for now since I need something immediately, and under these circumstances it would not be fair to sell a device like this. But I was surprised to learn that it would be sent to me in this way. I will never buy from sellers like this again. There is no support available.
