got 1 1060 i use for gaming. since risers are giving me bad performance with games. i'm planning to connect my 1060 directly to the board and make the 3 1070 plugged via risers. will it work?

For mining tasks, you'll require just one lane per GPU. As long as the slots remain unblocked, everything should work smoothly.
