I've observed lower FPS in certain titles, especially Escape from Tarkov and PUBG. My GPU can hit 99% load sometimes, yet I still experience decent performance, usually between 50-70%. Most of the time it's around 50% on one or two cores. I haven't seen any throttling and I'm consistently using the speed I set. I'm running an Asus Poseidon GTX 1080 Ti with a stock 7700k at 4.8Ghz, but performance doesn't differ significantly from stock. My CPU never reaches full usage on any single core, only around 50%. I'm using 16GB of 3000MHz Corsair RAM and a 2560x1080 resolution (Benq XR3501). For games like BF1, I play at ultra settings with 125% resolution scale and get 100 FPS. In PUBG, 120% resolution scale gives 100 FPS with everything on high except textures, AA, and view distance in ultra. My friend is using the same settings at 1440p, getting 20 more FPS. I don't come close to 100% usage on any CPU core. Thanks ahead for your help.
Welcome to the early stages, where performance tweaks take a back seat to adding new features. As the game nears its final launch, attention shifts to refining the experience through thorough optimization. Just accept the current state for now.
In ARK Survival Evolved, the latest update brought a 'retail' release that still has performance issues, while both ARK and PUBG rely on Unreal Engine.
