I'm near the breaking point, just a few feet away from frustration. My system includes an I7 7700k with water cooling, 32GB RAM, and a 1660 graphics card paired with a 165Hz monitor. I mostly play Fortnite, where my GPU usage stays under 35% and CPU around 60%. FPS can dip to 40 or lower, but performance remains acceptable. I've swapped out the PSU (600W), checked temperatures, adjusted power settings in NVIDIA and Windows, maxed out dx11/dx12 and performance mode—but still no improvement. I'm struggling to figure out what's causing the issue. Anyone know how to force the GPU to run at full capacity? NVIDIA has a setting for that, but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for any advice!

Use MSI Afterburner to monitor CPU utilization for each core individually.

Per core the reading was about 60 percent, I used ddu and set the manufacturer driver, but it stayed the same.

GPU consumption stays below 80%, it seems the card reaches around 7% usage and just gives up. That’s why I considered a power problem and changed the PSU. Also, the FPS drops as low as 10, which happened about 20 minutes ago. After cleaning out the dust and applying thermal paste, I restarted the game and it improved slightly, though not much. Check the hotspot temperatures to see the details.
