I just upgraded my GPU but still see low FPS and it doesn’t seem to be using it properly. My specs are B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3070, and I’m not getting much performance improvement. The PSU is 850W and the system is cooling well. I’ve taken some screenshots of benchmark results in Cyberpunk 2077 (1080p runs are slow for most games). What should I do?

Someone suggested checking DDU, possibly because old GPU drivers are causing issues.

I've installed DDU fresh OS, tried various drivers, and everything seems to be working normally under stress tests. The GPU is fully utilized without issues, but games aren't performing as expected.

The stress test could indicate a CPU limitation. Checking per-core activity in Task Manager may reveal that only a few cores are active while others remain idle. It seems unclear whether the performance drop is due to lower framerate compared to before the GPU upgrade or simply less than expected.

I received just an example image to illustrate the problem I'm encountering. I need more frames per second than what I'm currently getting. In other games like Valorant or Rainbow Six, I had around 1060 FPS before, but there was no improvement. Now the issue is that most games run okay for a while, then the FPS drops significantly. The numbers aren't worse than before, but the rate isn't what I expected based on other benchmarks. The difference seems too large.

In the performance overlay, I can view GPU usage but not CPU usage. Would you like me to also display CPU utilization? Most of the time it’s drawing only 40 watts, which seems unusual for the current conditions.
