My general concept for ITX is based on the links you shared.
For MATX, it’s around $200 US.
If air cooling is an option, I’d prefer that to reduce costs if AIO isn’t essential.
Please note these are just ideas, not final selections.

For more choices, think about placing the case on the floor beside the desk.
Front panel extenders can help with power and accessories.
MATX is usually similar in size to ITX and tends to be cheaper.

Sorry, there isn't room next to or under my desk. I'm searching for something smaller than ATX since my current setup uses a Corsair 5000d and needs less space.

The belief that air cooling is cheaper than an AIO might be a misconception; fan expenses can add up quickly. With nine fans in my O11 Air Mini running at idle, the noise level remains low. You might consider swapping your existing Corsair units into an Air Mini for the most affordable solution, depending on whether your current AIO can accommodate them. Alternatively, using an A3 case would likely provide optimal cooling if you utilize all the fan slots.

I’m planning a complete upgrade because my system is outdated and only supports AM4 with DDR4. In short, I’d need to replace nearly everything except possibly a M.2 slot, which means selling the old PC as a whole and rebuilding it. I’m leaning toward the Lian Li A3 or Asus Prime AP201.
