Adjust V-Sync in video settings. Verify CPU and GPU performance and monitor their temperatures.

You might want to delete the .minecraft directory from your Appdata Roaming area. After removing it and launching the launcher again, the downloads for settings and other files could restart, possibly fixing the issue. Be sure to save your progress before proceeding. To locate the Appdata folder, type %appdata% into the search bar and choose Roaming—then the .minecraft folder should appear. Remember to close the Minecraft Launcher and game during this process. This should help!
