It should work well with just that setup. I ran a Minecraft server inside a VM using one core at 2.6 GHz and 512MB RAM—it functioned mostly okay. Upgrading to a dual-core processor with 4-8GB RAM should be sufficient, provided you’re not using the PC for other tasks.

It's incorrect, the E5400 includes an integrated GPU, allowing connection to a display without requiring a separate graphics card.

I think it likely includes an integrated GPU. My current system has a Pentium E5700 running at 3GHz and has unused hardware, but I'm curious about its own capabilities. Meanwhile, the upcoming machine will feature a 4690k processor, 16GB RAM, and a GTX970 or higher.

It's really affordable at a local store, only 3 euros, so that's fine. The game's lag is completely unacceptable.
