Hey everyone, can someone assist me in setting up a Bukkit server? I want to play with friends and use some cool plugins. ^^ I’m facing an issue... the problem occurs on 1.8.8. It worked on 1.7.10 but my friends can’t join.

It's like a Bukkit server where you can install plugins and enjoy yourself? What do you mean? My language isn't great, I'm confused about what you're saying... Sorry, I just want a Bukkit server without Hamachi or with it if needed, add some plugins and have fun... 😊

When running locally, such as on a personal computer, you need to enable port 25565 through your router settings. Open the configuration, choose the PC, set port 25565 and it should function properly.

It's a feature that lets you expose a specific part of your router to external devices. (Refers to the router's software settings.)

Port forwarding lets outside devices access your machine through specific ports on your router. For instance, Minecraft typically uses port 25565. Your router must be configured to send traffic from :25565 to your computer. The address might appear as 192.168.1.1:25565, which is a common fooey IP. Minecraft also automatically assigns this port, so you don’t need to set it manually. Let me know if this clarifies things.

I needed to forward traffic for plugins. For a basic server, just run it normally. But if you need special features, log into your router and open port 25565.
