Hello, After trying Valorant for the first time, Minecraft seems less fluid. I have a 144Hz display and over 400 FPS, yet it feels like I'm playing on a 60Hz screen. Valorant still runs smoothly. Anyone know how to resolve this? I've restarted my PC and unplugged the monitor, but changing to windowed mode doesn't help.

Test Minecraft to evaluate your 0.1% and 1% minimum frame rates. Use FRAPS for recording and FRAFS for analysis.

Check removing Riots Vanguard anti-cheat and observe results. Others reported significant performance issues after using Valorant, possibly due to the anti-cheat.

You only logged your frame rate for 4.2 seconds, which isn’t a solid test. Were there any moments in your Minecraft session where the game didn’t run smoothly?

Certainly! The game maintains a smooth 60 frames per second.

I'll give it a shot, though it's odd I'm still getting solid FPS.

Did you align your monitor refresh rate with the actual rate provided by your GPU? Navigate to display settings > Advanced Display Settings > (Choose your Monitor/Display). Proceed to "Monitor Tab" and adjust accordingly. After completion, verify your monitor configuration to ensure it matches the correct refresh rate. If issues persist, consider turning on VSYNC in the Minecraft settings.
