SethBling has built an emulator for the Atari 2600 VCS. In Minecraft, he employs several thousand command blocks to mimic the processor, video card, video system, and some actual Atari VCS ROMs. The Dirt blocks represent zeros and the Stone blocks stand for ones. You can clearly observe how memory is structured using these Minecraft elements. The emulator functions with a scanning electron beam similar to a real TV's cathode ray tube, drawing pixels as it scans. Be aware, however, that the frame rate won't be impressive—just about sixty frames over four hours.

Only when he sent a Mario maker level to AGDQ with a hidden dickbutt did anything happen.

The emulator interprets the cartridge by analyzing its physical state—determining if it contains stone or dirt and checking the condition of any internal blocks.

I glanced around and saw numbers around 1.6 or 7. It feels like the game has changed completely.

Interesting, though the performance is quite slow at 15 frames per hour.
