Minecraft experiencing low frame rates despite a high-end computer!
Hi, I’ve observed that Minecraft frequently performs poorly for me, averaging between 50 and 60 frames per second, occasionally dropping to 30-40. Despite a clean Windows installation, the issue persists!
I've witnessed individuals with less powerful computers than mine achieving frame rates of up to 3000, while I’m only managing around 50. This is incredibly frustrating!

What amount of video RAM have you designated for Minecraft? The F3 display will also reveal this information. The standard setting is approximately 1GB, however, a GTX 1080 can support up to 8GB. To expand the memory available, navigate to your Minecraft launcher, modify your profile and in the lower section, configure your Java Virtual Machine settings to allocate no less than 4GB.
Does your high-performance graphics card being utilized by Minecraft? You can investigate this by pressing F3 during gameplay to access Minecraft diagnostics. If the GTX 1080 is active, you’ll observe it on the right side of the screen (close to the display options). Otherwise, you’ll need to navigate to the GTX application to link it with Minecraft and Java.
