Hello!
I was thinking about whether to use mod packs or just play the standard version of Minecraft.
I’d prefer the latest update since my last play was three years ago, and there’s plenty of new content now.
I’m familiar with tools like Optifine but don’t know how to install them.
Are there any options to add more mods? For example, is there a mod called OreMinner that breaks ore into smaller pieces?
I’d like mods that simplify the game a bit.

You can access the instructions for Optifine via this link. It has been a long time since I last modified Minecraft. With Optifine, you can also discover other visual mods such as SEUS that come with it.

Forge isn't current, huh?
I'm trying to play 1.14.

I understand there are Optifine and shaders available for 1.14, and perhaps you're looking for more alternatives before the next Forge update to 1.14.

Do you have a download available? Everyone I ask says it's not released yet. Even the creators mention it hasn't been launched.

I got mixed up trying to get 1.14 modded, then went back to 1.13.2. That's not what I meant.

Check the main site and keep an eye on the preview area. Once the developers release a preview, it will appear there. Avoid downloading files claiming to be Optifine 1.14. Stick to the official site for updates.
